Year 4

In year four we learn through a creative curriculum. This year we have enjoyed a number exciting projects which have included making chairs, torches and money containers.

We have had a number of school excursions which have included trips to the Narnia exhibition which linked to our English, imaginary world topic. A trip to the Minton floor exhibition at St Georges Hall which enhanced our art and ICT pattern work. Also, a trip to the Wildflower Centre, which linked to our science habitat topic.

Christmas Concert 1/12/2011

To mark the beginning of Advent, children from All Saints school participated in the Hugh Baird Christmas Concert.

Dressed as Mary, Joseph, kings, shepherds, angels and even a lamb, the children provided the Nativity tableau and sang Away in a Manger to an audience of high school pupils, college students and parents. The children provided the “cute” factor and certainly set Christmas off to a good start.
