Year 5

This year, Yr. 5 has had lots of exciting activities taking place. These included trips to The Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool museum and Sudley House. This all tied in with our history topic ‘The Victorians.’

The children have taken part in a ‘Lost and found’ project. This was very successful and the end product can be seen outside our school building. This piece of art was named ‘The Peace Polo.’ It commemorates all the lives lost in World War II.

Other activities have included cycling, golf, African drumming (during our music lessons) and Savio Enterprise. This took part in class and educated the children about ‘Fair trade’ and Fair trade products.

On Monday 27th June, we will be taking part in a 'Victorian Day' at Liverpool Cathedral. Children and staff will dress in victorian costumes and find out what it was like to live and work in the Victorian era.
