"Dance teaches self-discipline, dance builds confidence, dance is the poetry of movement for all to enjoy."
Every Thursday 3.15 pm - 4.20 pm, Miss Handley runs a dance class for children to come and explore the art of dance. Through attending class, the children will develop a self-discipline, it will help build their resilience and confidence to achieve. Over the course of the year, the children will experience a variety of dance genres including; contemporary, musical theatre and street dance.
Alongside her, a former past pupil Macy Grant, who currently attends Savio Salesian College and has continued her passion for dance in her studies, supports Miss Handley and helps choreograph and teach routines. Before joining All Saints dance club back in 2011, Macy had never danced before so it is wonderful to watch how our club has inspired her.
" I feel free and I feel like I can do anything I want." Callum James
" It teaches me to never give up and to keep practising my moves." Emily Garrett
"Its good fun, I like trying out different moves and having a laugh with my friends." Jamie Latham

Throughout the year, the children will have the opportunity to showcase their amazing talents. They are currently working on farewell dance for Fr Gerry. We will then be rehearsing for our Christmas Performance before our final summer showdown. So watch this space for forthcoming events!
Never miss a chance to dance!
