After School Clubs

Dance Club

Dance club is on Thursdays after school. 3.15pm - 4.15pm. Starting on Thursday 12th January 2012 led by Miss Hanley

Web Team Club

This club is run by Mrs L Pimblett it will take place in the ICT Suite  at 3.00pm - 4.00 pm every Monday.

Animation Club

Children design and create their own digital animation using ‘I can animate’ software. This provides children with a unique opportunity to work together to create something they can be proud of.

Djembe drums

Mrs Tam and Mrs Tunstall from Sefton's Music Support run the club each Tuesday.  The children are very enthuiastic and have played in St James' Church on special occasions as well as in school for visitors.

Chatterbooks

Chatterbooks, which encourages a range of reading, simple book reviews, as well as interaction between different age groups. There is a range of activities; from book bingo to badge making.  Children also visit Bootle library each week.

Football

Children from Year 3 to 6 practise a range of skills to improve their all-round football ability. Encourages working as individuals and as a group/team.

Newspaper Club

This club is run by Mrs L Pimblett it will take place in the ICT Suite  at 3.00pm - 4.00 pm every Wednesday

Judo

Children actively take part in Judo with a qualified coach at lunchtime on Wednesdays.

Film Club

Mrs Napier runs our film club. Each week children are given the opportunity to enjoy a film selected from a wide range of movies. Film club is offered to children across both Key Stages.

Athletics

Run by Miss Benton and an athletics coach, our athletics club is on Thursdays.

Reading Club

Our reading club will be starting soon.

Choir

Run by Mrs Tam, choir is on Wednesdays.  Our choir sing in our local residential homes at Christmas
