Art Therapist: Mrs G Williams
HCPC Registered/Full member of BAAT (British Association of Art Therapists)
I work at All Saints one day a week, seeing both individual children and groups. Children attend Art Therapy for a variety of reasons, bereavement, separation, family changes and other difficult life events. Art Therapy aims to give the children a safe environment in which they can work through their worries with a trusting adult. Art Therapy helps to promote good mental health and well-being and over the last three years it has had a positive impact on many children’s lives at All Saints.
Children are referred for Art Therapy by their teachers and other staff if they become aware of a particular difficulty a child is facing. Parents and carers are asked for their consent before sessions begin.
If you are concerned about your child and feel that they could benefit from some additional emotional support in school, please contact Mrs Kennedy to discuss the matter further.
